Tunstall Reservoir - Meet at 8 am for 8.30 Start
Additional Branch Meeting 10-04-08
In an attempt to get “a flying start” of next winters activities, and also introduce a few events thro the coming summer, a meeting is to be held on 10-04-2008 at the “Legion” at 8pm.
We would like to determine if there is sufficient interest in the following:- General Club shirts or a club badge to attach to a vest or shirt. This subject has been aired, but we need to make a decision. At the moment, shirts from John Norris (ref no 2968) have been suggested. Summer Bug Hunt, possibly led by Messrs Calvert and or Croft. Fishing day on Chatsworth Estate guided by Philip White approx £60 per head 8 rods max. A days fishing on the Tweed, with our own Stuart Wardle, to find out where and how to fish this river. A days fishing on Lockwood Beck reservoir. Autumn Grayling Day, Date & Venue to discuss, probably early November to take advantage of the, hopefully, milder weather.
Presentation / Speakers Steve Parton
The items for discussion are not limited to the items listed. If anyone has any ideas, contact John Hartland or Stuart Wardle and we will add to the list.
Thursday 14-02-08 Flytying Evening at " The Legion" 8pm. Stuart informs me he will tie anything if some one has a request. Sounds like a challenge to me.
Please note that if we can arrange for a presentation from some one interesting, the flytying evening may be scrubbed at short notice. (This is not a reflection on Stuarts flytying ability)
